Workshed Mosaics
Workshed Mosaics is run as a project orientated workshop. Students are taught the art of mosaics through four consecutive weekly set sessions where we cover tile cutting and manipulation, working with tools, creating and following designs and many other elements of mosaics.
Following these initial intensive sessions, students are free to use our facilities to complete their mosaics in what we term "workshop time", where they can work on their pieces at their own convenience, fully supported by us.
There is a minimum cost of $330 to start a mosaic project. The overall price depends on the project size and workshop duration.
To commence a project you must book and attend four consecutive weekly sessions. Choose from the following:
Day Sessions
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
10:00am to 12:30pm
Night Sessions
Tuesday or Wednesday
7:30pm to 10:00pm
As you gain confidence, you are free to come to the workshop sessions as you wish, whilst ensuring you finish the booked sessions.
Workshop Sessions
Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Tuesday and Wednesday nights: 7:30pm to 10:00pm
Our prices cover all workshop fees, teaching and support as well as tiles, glues, grouting and finishes. We can also quote a price for custom sizes and shapes. Please contact us to discuss your mosaic project requirements.

Note: an additional $100 applies for partners who choose to share a project.
An extra charge will apply for projects which require full weather durability. This cost is dependant on size and if it is a table top and is usually between $50 and $150 for extra materials and labour.
Project Payment
$44.00 deposit on booking.
Deposit is non-refundable if you fail to attend, as we have prepared materials in advance.
Project price balance is due on the date of your first class.
We do not accept payment plans.

The majority of the price of your piece covers the use of the workshop facilities and time allotted for your project.
We rely on you to use this time wisely. Like a Gym, if you do not use your time, it cannot be transferred or delayed unless prior arrangements are agreed.
You are free to use our facilities at any time in order to complete your project in your agreed time.
All projects up to 90cm in size receive 4 months workshop access.
Projects of 1 metre or greater, receive more time which will be agreed upon prior to commencement.
In order to provide fair support to all, you must adhere to agreed time limits.
